I was first introduced to drumming and music when I was about six back when I was living in New York. I had my own drum set when I first started. I always loved to sit behind it and play on the drums; I thought it was the greatest thing. I also got into a lot of different bands at the same time when I started drums. I heard of a lot of the band through my dad. Bands like Pantera and Metallica and I thought they were awesome bands. Then when I was going into the fourth grade we moved to Maine. I found out that we could not bring my drum kit along, so I got very upset about that. When I was in Maine I just did a lot of studying in music and finding out more bands. A couple months went by and my older brother showed me a band named Avenged Sevenfold. I heard some of their stuff but never knew the name or anything. So then weeks were going by and I was liking this band a lot every song I heard I liked. There are a lot of reasons why I liked them. One reason about them was their style of music and the way their lyrics work and the meaning of their lyrics and music.
